Erstwhere collects the information you give us when you express interest or claim a gifted stay: your name, email, phone, the dates you're interested in, and how you know us (including the name of anyone who refers or vouches for you). We use it solely to review applications, coordinate stays, and stay in touch with you.

We don't sell your data. We share it only with the Erstwhere stewards and the service providers that run this site (our database/auth host and email provider). If you claim a gifted stay, the person who gifted it is told that you claimed it so they can confirm.

You can ask us to show, correct, or delete your information at any time — email hello@erstwhere.org. We keep application records only as long as needed to run the house.

California residents have rights under the CCPA, including the right to know and delete. Contact us to exercise them.
